Our history
To give you a better understanding of how Garage Biver has evolved, here is the history of the business since it was founded 100 years ago.
A century at your service
In 2026, Garage Martin Biver celebrates its centenary! Three generations of passion for cars, expertise and exemplary customer service.
We represent the Volkswagen and Audi brands and provide servicing for both, as well as servicing for the Skoda brand. With more than 1,000 m² of exhibition space, we are ready for the next 100 years.

Our journey
100 years of development and innovation
Foundation
Martin Biver (husband of Anna Manderscheid) founded the company. At the time, they offered a small repair service and sold bicycles and small motorcycles.

Volkswagen dealer
After the Second World War, Mr Biver became an authorised dealer for the German brand Volkswagen. Back then, our showroom was "full" with a single Beetle on display.

New management
The garage is run by Martin Waaijenberg (the founder's son-in-law).

Audi dealer
We became an authorised Audi dealer.

First showroom
The first new showroom for both brands was built.

Albert Waaijenberg
The garage is run under the responsibility of its owner, Albert Waaijenberg (the founder's grandson).

Separation of the brands
The first separation of the brands led to the construction of the new Volkswagen showroom and the renovation of the old one.
ISO 9002 certification
ISO 9002 certification obtained, guaranteeing the quality of our services.
New Audi showroom
Construction of the new Audi showroom (opened in January 2005). In 2006, the car park was laid out and a new reception area was built at VW.

Expansion
Construction of the new multi-brand body repair centre, the new Audi workshop and the new Audi reception.

Skoda service
Extension of the Audi showroom and renovation of the VW showroom. Since 2011, we have offered service for the Skoda brand. At the end of 2016, a new reception and welcome area opened at Volkswagen and Skoda.

New car park

About our workshop

Regarding our workshop, we would like to let you know that our mechanics receive training throughout the year through specialised courses (given by our importer Autosdiffusion Losch in Luxembourg), covering the mechanics, electronics and bodywork of the new models.
Every year, our team therefore completes many hours of training to improve its work and make it more efficient, so as to give our customers the greatest possible satisfaction.
Other very important changes have taken place in the VW and AUDI organisation in our country. Indeed, the VW and AUDI factories decided (in addition to completely separating the two brands) to reduce the number of official dealers! By building the new AUDI showroom, we were able to keep both brands. This is also why we decided to build a new workshop to separate the two brands for good.
Finally, we hope that we can also count on you, our valued customers, to face the major challenges that the future holds for us.
